Warranty Policy

COVERAGE

At Board Fix Tech, we stand behind the quality of our repairs and the parts we use. Our warranty policy ensures that you are protected in the case of manufacturing defects or issues with the parts installed in your mobile device. This warranty covers:


  • Defective Parts: If a part installed in your device is found to be defective due to manufacturing issues.
  • Adhesive Issues: Any problems related to the adhesive used during the repair process.


Warranty Duration

Our warranty is valid for 60 days from the date of repair. Warranty period begins upon the date your device is marked as delivered in the return shipment tracking information. This period allows us to address any potential issues related to manufacturing defects or installation problems. Initiation of a claim must be started before the 60-day policy expires.


Exclusions

 The following conditions are NOT covered under our warranty:


  • Physical Damage: Any damage to the device that occurs after the repair is considered physical damage and is not covered. This includes, but is not limited to, cracked screens, damaged casings, or any other external harm.
  • Liquid Damage: Any damage caused by liquid exposure or spillage is not covered under this warranty. Devices with pre-existing liquid damage at the time of repair will not be eligible for warranty coverage. If a device was previously damaged by liquid before the repair, it will not be covered by our warranty.
  • Pre-existing Conditions: Any issue the device was experiencing before repairs, and was declined by the customer for additional repairs. 
  • Customer Provided Parts: If the part for repair was not purchased through Board Fix Tech and was supplied by the customer, your device will not come with a warranty.
  • Other Issues: Any new issues the device may be experiencing outside the scope of the original repair. Software issues, including but not limited to virus removals or operating system installations. 
  • Tampering / Disassembling: Any device discovered to have been opened by the customer or a different service professional outside of Board Fix Tech after services were provided.


Shipping

Board Fix Tech is not responsible for damages to devices not shipped properly. We will make every effort to ensure your device is packaged appropriately. It is recommended to ship devices in their original purchase packaging if possible, to minimize the chance of damages during shipping. Devices will likely be sent back in its original or similar packaging. It is expected the customer will opt into insurance protection for your device shipments, and the cost of insurance protection will be included within the shipping charge.


Claim Process

To make a warranty claim, please contact us within the 60-day warranty period and provide the following information:


  • Proof of Repair: A copy of the receipt or work order from the original repair.
  • Description of the Issue: A detailed description of the problem you are experiencing.
  • Photo Evidence of Issue: If possible, please include video of photo evidence so we can verify the issue.


Remedies

If your claim is valid, we will provide one of the following remedies at our discretion:


  • Repair: We will repair or replace the defective part free of charge.
  • Replacement: If repair is not feasible, we may offer a replacement device.


*Please note that devices deemed a "No-Fix" or "Unrepairable" are not subject to replacement*


Limitation of Liability

Our liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective part. We are not responsible for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the device. Please see the Exclusions section for more information.
