We offer free estimates for most services. An estimate will be provided after an initial assessment of the item. All prices will be communicated upfront before any work begins. We will notify you of any changes to the initial estimate due to unforeseen issues or additional repairs required.
We provide a 60-day warranty on all repairs. Please note that the warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, or external factors. If you experience issues with your repair, please contact us as soon as possible. Please see our Warranty Policy for more information.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that items are accessible and free from personal belongings at the time of service. Please do not send any cables, cases, or accessories with your device. Board Fix Tech is not responsible for any items outside of the device being repaired. We recommend backing up any data if applicable, as we are not liable for data loss during repairs. Although uncommon, some repairs do require a factory reset for full completion. You will be notified in advanced if this is necessary. Please inform us of any previous repairs or issues related to the item to help us provide the best service.
Repair times vary based on the nature of the service and parts availability. We will provide an estimated completion time during the initial consultation. We strive to complete repairs as quickly as possible, but factors such as parts sourcing may affect timing.
Payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept debit and credit cards, PayPal, and checks. For certain repairs, especially special orders or extensive work, a deposit may be required. Invoices will provide a detailed breakdown of all charges and services rendered. Please note that bench fees and repair attempt fees, as well as any shipping charges, are non-refundable.
Cancellations must be made in advance of your repair. If an estimate is accepted, we are not guaranteed to cancel a repair, unless notified before the repairs are completed. Refunds for services rendered will only be considered if the service does not meet our quality standards or the warranty terms. We will work with you to resolve any concerns. Devices left for repair that remain unpaid for 60 days will be considered abandoned. After this period, Board Fix Tech reserves the right to dispose of or sell the device to recover costs. We will make every effort to contact the customer before taking this action. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure timely payment and communication regarding their repair status. If you are in need of device storage, you are responsible for notifying us within 60 days of repair completion. Devices in need of storage will incur a monthly fee of $25.
For your convenience, Board Fix Tech offers a shipping service for devices needing repair. Customers can ship their devices directly to us using a reliable shipping method. We recommend insuring the device during shipping to protect against loss or damage. Upon receipt, we will conduct an initial assessment and provide an estimate for repairs. Customers are responsible for shipping costs both to and from our store. Please contact us for detailed instructions on how to prepare your device for shipping.
